Screens flickered to life across multiple venues as Flatpack Festival 2023 unfolded through the city. The programme combined independent film, artist-led discussion and special events, with activity moving between cinemas, galleries and alternative spaces across Birmingham.

Photographing the festival meant working across varied environments and lighting conditions throughout the schedule. I focused on audience response, speaker exchange and the atmosphere within each venue, balancing formal moments on stage with quieter transitions between sessions.
