Exhibition opening, public viewing
Overview
Visitors moved steadily through the gallery space as large-scale prints and contextual displays came into focus. The Frida Kahlo exhibition in Coventry, photographed on 22 November 2022, centred on artwork presentation, interpretive panels and audience engagement within a curated museum environment.
Photographing the event meant working in controlled indoor lighting while retaining clarity of both artwork and viewer interaction. I focused on the relationship between audience and display, capturing quiet observation, guided conversation and the layout of the exhibition itself.
The coverage reflects a cultural event shaped by atmosphere, interpretation and public engagement.
