In June 2023 I visited Twickenham Stadium for the first time to photograph my all time favourite band, Depeche Mode, on Memento Mori tour stop. When it comes to DM, the objectivity goes out of the window as in my eyes, they can do no wrong. My only criticism was the venue, I feel that Depeche Mode belong in arenas where daylight is kept at bay. They are a dark, moody and somewhat melancholic band and blue summer sky just doesn't fit in. Their lighting is cinematic and sculptural and really starts to shine when the sky grows darker. As always, there's a walkway but Dave never ventures to the front during first three songs so, I worked around it to get a variety of tighter frames and wider angles.

The images were produced for editorial and live music coverage, documenting a major stadium performance in London.
