Overview

Cold white light cut through thick haze, leaving the stage in near-monochrome. The visual language was stark and deliberate, with minimal colour and heavy shadow shaping the frame. SKYND remained largely still at centre stage, letting atmosphere build before sudden shifts in intensity.

Photographing the set meant working with contrast rather than colour. As a UK live music photographer, I focused on silhouette, negative space and the brief moments where expression surfaced between lighting changes. Movement was controlled and sparse, which made timing even more critical.

The performance leaned into tension and restraint, holding the room in a steady, unsettling rhythm from start to finish.
