Richard Ashcroft's 2017 tour supported his album These People, featuring UK arena dates in April (Glasgow, Birmingham, Leeds) and a summer show at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl. I photographed him at Utilita Arena in Birmingham.

The staging blended classic rock concert lighting, evocative video screens (often with vintage TV-style imagery), and thoughtful visual cues to create a show that was atmospheric without being overproduced — it supported the emotional range of his music and his connection with the audience without overshadowing the performance itself.

The images were produced for editorial and live music coverage, documenting a major arena performance in the UK.
