Rather than a standard rock or theatre show, Carpenter’s 2016 performance at Warwick Arts Centre was presented as a multimedia live celebration of his iconic film music, blending live musicianship with cinematic visuals and atmospheric lighting and effects. A large projection screen behind Carpenter and his band was a core element of the show. Throughout the set, it showed edited film clips and highlights from his most famous movies as their themes were performed — such as Escape From New York, Assault on Precinct 13, They Live, The Fog and  Halloween.
