If there was a competition which band uses the most pyros, Parkway Drive would win it hands down. Flame towers and moving rig elements reshaped the stage throughout the night, with lighting shifting from deep shadow to stark white bursts. The production felt heavier and more architectural, building on earlier tours with greater control.

The Nottingham show sat within the Darker Still tour cycle, with new material altering the pacing and mood of the set. Slower, weightier passages contrasted with the band’s established intensity.

Photographing the performance meant anticipating pyrotechnic cues and tracking constant movement across a wide arena stage, holding clarity within smoke, fire and fast transitions.
