Tatiana Shmayluk  is a formidable front woman. Her vocals are spot on, effortlessly shifing between ferocious growls and soaring clean vocals but she is also visually striking, chaning her style each time I see her.  The current Tron like aesthetic is particularly cool to photograph  as the neon lines on her catsuit glow in the black light.  Lighting was pretty challenging to say the least, changing from very dark to flashing strobes which made even my, usually very reliable, lens struggle to focus at times. The set moved between tightly structured passages and heavier, more expansive sections. I focused on timing and expression, capturing the contrast between controlled stillness and explosive movement, while working within dense lighting and rapid transitions.

The images were produced for editorial and live music coverage, documenting a technically driven metal performance in the UK.
