My earliest memory of Jane’s Addiction goes back to one summer in my early teens, when they played a gig at a local sports hall in my hometown of Ljubljana. My best friend and I spent the day just hanging around, fascinated by the crew unloading all the gear and catching glimpses of the band preparing for the show.

Fast forward a few years, and I was watching them headline Bearded Theory Festival—their first full performance with the original lineup since 2010. Their set quickly became my personal highlight of an extremely wet and muddy weekend, a reminder of why their music has left such a lasting impression over the years.
