I photographed Amyl and the Sniffers during their UK show in May 2024, working in the pit to capture the pace and unpredictability of their live performance.

Their sets move fast. I focused on timing and proximity, tracking Amy Taylor’s movement across the stage and the constant exchange between band and crowd. Sharp lighting shifts and compressed spaces demanded instinct rather than repetition.

The images were created for editorial and live music coverage, documenting the raw energy of a touring band at full volume.
