Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes
Feral punk, no barriers

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes photographed at the Rainbow, Birmingham in 2015.
This was the first time I got to experience the force of nature that is Frank Carter live. I have seen him many times since but as they say, you never forget your first time.
A Frank Carter live show feels less like a concert and more like a volatile, shared experience. It’s sweaty, confrontational, emotionally open, and powered by relentless physical energy. His movements are sharp and impulsive — part boxer, part preacher, part punk frontman.
There’s no sense of distance between Frank and audience. As he sprints from one side of the stage to the other, launches off drum risers, hangs over the barricade or from the rafters, he performs with the crowd, not at them.
