Florence + The Machine
Florence + The Machine
Cathedral voice, sweeping stage

Overview
Overview
I photographed Florence at Genting Arena (now known as BP Pulse Live) in 2015 during the How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful Tour.
Personally I find Florence Welch an absolute delight to watch and photograph live. She almost floats across the stage, always barefoot and wearing long, floaty, semi-transparent dresses that let the light shine through to create theatrical, atmospheric portraits in drifting haze. She constantly creates new shapes and poses, but never in a choreographed way, everything feel instinctive, emotional and just beautiful to watch.
The images were produced for editorial and live music coverage, documenting a major arena performance in the UK.
