Photographing 50 Cent at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2025 was an enjoyable experience, made even more special by the inclusion of Mary J. Blige as a special guest. This one-off headline show brought together two generations of hip-hop and R&B legends, creating a night packed with iconic hits, memorable visuals, and non-stop energy.

I was particularly excited because it was my first time seeing 50 Cent live, and I hadn’t caught Mary J. Blige in concert for several years. My shooting position was within the golden circle area rather than the pit, which turned out to be better than I anticipated as the space wasn’t overcrowded, allowing flexibility to move around and capture a variety of angles without interference from other photographers or fans.

Overall, the show was a perfect blend of star power and production, and from a photographer’s perspective, it offered a rare chance to document two music legends back-to-back. Mary J. Blige’s sophistication and 50 Cent’s high-octane presence created contrasting yet complementary moments.
