Sections of timber and steel were assembled on site before the canopy form became fully recognisable. The Polinations tree construction in Scunthorpe combined engineering and planting, with crews working in stages to raise and secure the structure within a live public environment.

Photographing the build meant documenting precision and progress. As a UK event photographer, I focused on process, scale and the relationship between construction teams and the evolving form of the installation.

The coverage reflects both the technical execution and the gradual transformation of the space as the structure took shape.
