PRG UK hired me to document the technical production and live performance of Pearl Jam at Hyde Park, part of the American Express® Presents BST Hyde Park series. PRG UK provided the staging, lighting, video, and crew for the concert, and my role was to capture both the meticulous build process and the electrifying performance that followed.

The day before the show, I focused on the technical set-up: massive stage structures rising against the London skyline, rigging crews and banks of lights and LED video screens being installed with precision.

On the day of the concert, I shifted focus to how these technical elements translated into the live experience. The dynamic lighting design transformed Hyde Park, punctuating each song with vibrant washes, beams, and strobes that complemented the energy of Pearl Jam’s performance. Video screens provided not just live feed but immersive visual storytelling, highlighting the band and creating a sense of scale that reached even the back of the audience.

I aimed to show both the technical complexity and the emotional impact—the way stage geometry, light, and video combined to create a fully realized visual environment.
