Early afternoon light cut across the open fields before the main stages moved into full LED saturation after dark. Creamfields North 2022 unfolded over four days, with multiple large-scale arenas operating simultaneously and production built around towering screens and immersive lighting rigs.

Photographing the weekend meant balancing wide environmental frames with tighter DJ and live set coverage. As a UK festival photographer, I focused on crowd density, scale of staging and the shift from daylight clarity to late-night intensity under full lighting production.

The atmosphere built progressively across the weekend, driven by rhythm, spectacle and sustained momentum.
