Black Victorians, created by Artistic Director and Choreographer Jeanefer Jean-Charles, performed during Birmingham International Dance Festival in 2022.

The work was inspired by nineteenth-century studio portraits featured in Black Chronicles II, curated by Renée Mussai at Autograph in London and explores the hidden history of Black people in pre-Windrush Britain, challenging historical perceptions through movement.
