Stage light spilled unevenly across the front monitors as the first chord hit. There was no attempt at polish. Movement came fast and without warning, with sudden drops to the floor and constant shifts along the stage edge. Starcrawler pushed the space forward rather than settling into it.

Photographing the set meant staying alert to unpredictable pacing and erratic lighting. As a UK live music photographer, I worked close to the barrier, focusing on raw expression and physical movement rather than wide production shots.

The performance felt volatile and immediate, driven by instinct rather than structure.
