I first met Hanabie at Download festival when I documented their live stage performance and backstage prep for Metal Hammer feature. I loved their upbeat energy and colourful outfits so, I was really excited about their UK tour. They were just as fun as I remembered them but I actually enjoyed shooting them more on a smaller stage where I could get up close and personal. Their bright, Harajuku-inspired outfits paired with aggressive, raw performance energy made for a really exciting gig and I had lots of fun capturing their set.
